Elizabeth "Beth" Exley received her undergraduate degree from the George Washington University in Washington D.C. where she majored in Political Science and Criminal Justice.  She graduated in 1993 via an Army ROTC scholarship and attended military police school in Fort McClellan, Alabama.  Beth got her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 1998.  Beth was an Assistant District Attorney with the Harris County D.A.'s Office for over 18 years.  She has tried over 100 felony cases, including cases involving sexual assaults, murder and capital murder.  Beth also has experience in White Collar cases and domestic violence litigation.
